Art Show at downtown Long Beach Artwalk

The art show + toothbrush drive for Cambodia sponsored by the Cambodia Health Professionals Association of America (CHPAA) was a huge success. Brothers Ritchie and Richard Kong birthed the project http://WWW.SAVEATOOTH.ORG/. With the help of the committee and dedicated volunteers the night flowed with displayed various local artist work inspired by Cambodian art and culture, live performances, and video footage that covered the dental care mission in Cambodia. The GreenHouse kindly opened up its space for the whole event and the visual arts will stay on for another 2 weeks. Also the Village Grind offered to donate 50% of its proceeds that night to the cause. I think close to 500 toothbrushes were donated and $500 in sales were made from the save-a-tooth totes, krama and other souvenirs from Cambodia. I am excited to be a part of this great cause to aid Cambodia.
